Terms of Service.

The deal in plain English
Crewsteer is software-as-a-service for trade businesses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.). When you sign up, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use it. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have authority to bind that company.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you spot something wrong (unauthorized access, suspicious activity, etc.), tell us right away at security@crewsteer.com.
You can add or remove team members anytime. Each team member needs their own login, no sharing.
What we do
Crewsteer gives you tools to run your business: customer records, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments, books, integrations with third-party services. We work hard to keep it up. Our SLA target is 99.9% monthly uptime excluding planned maintenance (which we'll announce in advance).
What we don't do
We don't provide accounting advice, legal advice, tax advice, or business advice. The software does what we say it does; the conclusions you draw from your own data are yours.
We don't guarantee third-party integrations (QuickBooks, Stripe, Plaid, etc.) will keep working, those services can change their APIs at any time. We'll do our best to adapt quickly when they do.
Pricing + payment
We're in early access. Pricing is locked in by signed agreement; whatever's on /pricing is informational until then. Once you're paying, we bill monthly in advance, in USD, on the calendar day you signed up. You can cancel anytime, your data stays accessible until the end of your paid period, then we archive it for 30 days before deletion.
Your data is yours
You own your business data, customer records, invoices, payments, all of it. We get a license to store and process it on your behalf, only to deliver the service. You can export it anytime in CSV (per list) or as a full backup (Settings → Export). If you cancel, you have 30 days to pull it before we wipe it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Crewsteer to:
- Send spam, scams, or political messaging to your customers (US TCPA / CAN-SPAM violations)
- Process payments for fraud, money laundering, or anything illegal
- Reverse-engineer the platform or scrape it
- Resell access (without an explicit reseller agreement)
- Run anything that would put another customer's data, security, or experience at risk
If we see violations, we'll reach out first. If they continue, we'll suspend or terminate the account and (for serious cases) report to law enforcement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Crewsteer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you haven't paid us anything yet, our liability is capped at $100 USD.
We provide the service "as is" without warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except where the law won't let us disclaim them.
Indemnification
If a third party brings a claim against us because of your use of Crewsteer (your data, your customers, your team's actions), you'll defend us, pay our reasonable legal costs, and cover any damages. We'll do the same for you if a third party claims that Crewsteer itself infringes their IP.
Termination
You can cancel anytime, Settings → Billing → Cancel, or email us. We can terminate for breach of these terms (with notice when reasonable) or for non-payment after a 14-day grace period. On termination, you get the 30-day export window described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you and we consent to personal jurisdiction there. You waive any right to a jury trial; class actions are also waived.
Changes
We can update these terms. If a change is material, meaning it meaningfully affects what you can do with the platform or what we owe you, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
